CPH Forever IV
This is day 4 of our København stay, by faaar my favorite day of the week. It was busy, sunny and super yummy! Filled with interesting museums, food, beer, ice cream and amusement. Continue reading to see all the pictures and tips.

We had a quick breakfast at a coffee shop but I forgot to take pictures, so I’ll skip straight to our morning activities. We went to three different museums – the Geologisk Museum (Øster Voldgade 5), the Zoologisk Museum (Universitetsparken 15) and the Statens Naturhistoriske Museum (Øster Voldgade 7), which was really nice and interesting. We also really wanted to visit Louisiana Museum of Modern Art but were too lazy to get on a train. And we had apple pie with whipped cream.
Then we went to see the Botanical Gardens (Øster Farimagsgade 2B). Oh my, this was magical, soooo many beautiful flowers and plants! I took like a million photos of everything but I won’t bore you with all of them :-)
We were a bit tired after this (as you can probably imagine) so we sat down in a very nice cafe called Din Nye Ven (Skt. Peders Stræde 34) which was lovely. There were mostly students writing papers and the beers were quite cheap and delicious. I even got into a conversation with the boy sitting next to us for a while, the atmosphere was really good.
Then we went to Tivoli Gardens (Vesterbrogade 3)! This is one of the oldest amusement parks in the world, located in the city center of København. It is soooo beautiful! You pay a fee to get into the park AND pay for every ride you want to go on, but you can buy a combi ticket if you want. Boy, we had FUN! I loved riding a bumper car with my boyfriend and getting on the small, cute roller coasters together. We had popcorn – an amusement park must, cotton candy – an amusement park must, and a juice from Joe’s Juice – couldn’t resist the cool logo any longer. The juice was really really good, try it if you can.
When we got hungry we had dinner at Madklubben, which was pretty good but too busy, and had yummy ice cream for dessert. The gorgeous lights were turned on and we went back to the hostel. This was a good day!

ahhh wát een dag. heerlijk beschreven ook, ga maar vaker op vakantie :)
jaaa het was zo leuk! en volgepland! en hihi oke als jij me sponsort ;)
Oh ik herinner mij nog een heerlijke panini met tomaat en avocado in joe and the juice! En wij zijn daar toen soort van allemaal in slaap gevallen, allemaal maar enkele uren geslapen en een megakater haha. Fijne herinneringen!
oeee klinkt lekker, het eten zag er inderdaad ook goed uit daar. grappig dat je al die flashbacks krijgt zo :D klinkt echt alsof je een superleuke tijd had daar
Danique, ik ben zo benieuwd welke len(s)(zen) jij gebruikt? :) Je foto’s hebben altijd van die heerlijke kleuren en scherptedieptes.
Thanks! Deze foto’s zijn allemaal gemaakt met een Tamron AF 17-50mm f/2.8 XR VC Di II LD Asph lens (haha hele naam) waar ik echt heeeel blij mee ben en ik heb ook een Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 lens die ik af en toe gebruik.
Haha, supergrappig. Ik was zelf ook naar die lens aan ‘t kijken! Heb ook zitten kijken naar de Sigma 17-50mm, maar die is zo duuuur. Tamron is tenminste nog betaalbaar. En de 50mm van Canon heb ik inderdaad ook ja. Thanks! :)
ben met mijn zusje en beste vriendin aan het sparen voor een citytrip, en ik denk dat ik kpenhagen maar even op het lijstje ga zetten
oh leuk! wel een grote zak geld meenemen maar het is zeker een aanrader :)

Ah wauw, wat mooi allemaal. Botanische tuinen en musea zijn altijd fijn en ik wil heel graag nog een keer naar Tivoli!
Ja die botanische tuin was echt fantastisch, alles stond in bloei en die trapjes naar de top van de palmenkas ahh <3 Tivoli was superleuk, moet je zeker eens heengaan!!
