Berlin Forever III
The best about (East) Berlin is the creative vibe that you can feel everywhere. Talented musicians playing the streets, beautiful graffiti on buildings, arty ateliers on every corner, fashionable people, great places to grab a coffee and read a book. The best quarters in Berlin to do so are definitely Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain. Here is part three, explore.

TACHELES even though Kunsthaus Tacheles (Oranienburgerstraße 54) is not what it used to be (it really smells like pee), it is still worth a visit. It holds a lot of graffiti art and ateliers.
TEMPELHOF we visited an abandoned airport. It was so weird and cool to cycle down the flight lanes! It is called Flughaven Tempelhof (Platz der Luftbrücke)
MONUMENT the Soviet War Memorial in Treptower Park was quite impressive. It is somewhat unknown, but I thought it was worth a visit. (Alt-Treptow 1)
ADVENTURE this was for sure the most exciting / scary / fun thing to do! We visited an abandoned amusement park called Spreepark Plänterwald in the city center of Berlin. It is located in Treptower Park and completely surrounded with a fence. Just make sure no one sees you and crawl through one of the holes :) There is a guard wandering around the park, so be careful. (Kiehnwerderallee 1-3) Unfortunately we didn’t have the time to visit the Teufelsberg but I heard it’s definitely worth a visit! I saw some pictures of it and they look absolutely stunning! (S-bhf Heerstraße – directions online)

Leuk! En dat verlaten vliegveld is ook vet trouwens! Dat wist ik nog helemaal niet! :)
Ja! Nou ja, het is niet écht echt verlaten zoals dat pretpark, want het is nu een openbaar park, maar het was toch vet :)
Ooh maar dat is helemaal handig, dan hoef je je ook niet te verstoppen voor de guard.. ;)
als ik dit allemaal lees heb ik zoveel zin om weer eens naar berlijn te gaan. tacheles vond ik ook heel gaaf, vooral alle kunst in de tuin :)
Moet je doen, het is echt een hele inspirerende stad :) Tacheles was leuk ja, maar ook heel vies haha. Het is nu in gevecht met de overheid omdat die het willen afbreken ofzo? Het gebouw is door de helft en de tuin is in elk geval al gesloten :(
